The ritual
Four drops, in the evening
An oil applied badly sits on the surface and shines. The order of the steps changes everything.
On a dry beard
Apply to a clean, dry beard. On wet hair, the oil slides over the water instead of sinking in, so you need twice as much for the same effect.
Warm it in your palm
Take three to five drops and rub your hands together. Warm oil spreads far better than cold oil straight from the bottle.
Work up to the skin
Run your fingers under the beard and massage the skin of your chin, not just the lengths. That is where the tightness happens.
Comb to finish
One pass of a comb or brush spreads what is left and lays the hairs in the right direction. That is the step that tames the strays.
